About Me
Photography for me, started when I was in high school. I was a freshman with no idea of what electives I wanted to take. Good 'ol Mom suggested I take a photography class. I thought, why not... probably an "easy A".
Turns out it wasn't easy, but it was fun and I immediately acquired a love for photography. I continued taking photo classes throughout high school. After I graduated, I moved to Mammoth with my two best friends. I worked for Mammoth Mountain as a portrait photographer. I was stationed at the top of numerous ski lifts capturing family ski portraits. It was the most enjoyable job I'd ever had!
After Mammoth, I moved to Colorado and attended the Colorado Institute of Art. I received a degree in photography.
In 1995 I moved back to California where I worked with many prominent photographers; learning the ins and outs of photography.
The real magic came in 2006 with the birth of my first son. My mother-in-law told me...."You don't really know what love is until you have a child". The truth in that statement is beyond words!!
My new son became my favorite subject to catch on film. Thousands of images later, I realized it was time to start my own photography business. In July of 2007, Image 32 Photography was born.
Today I work with hundreds of kids and families creating their memories, their stories and their heritage.
This....is my passion. Thanks for reading!
